I’m a working mum and I train 3 to 4 times a week (its all I can do). I do split sessions - 2 lowerbody and 1 upperbody and I do 1 and a half hours cardio per week. Whilst I am happy with my toned butt, the area just below my butt cheeks just won’t tone up. I have lunged and squatted my booty off (with weights) for over 12 months now but still no change to this area. Some people have suggested more cardio but I am stuck for time and I do not like sacrificing my weights routine for more cardio. Anyone have an exercise for this area?

Getting Ripped

Hi, can anyone tell me the ideal programme to get proper ripped ie definition, veins etc. I know diet will play a big part, but just wanted to know if there was a specific routine.

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew the optimum length of time to do weight-training (excluding warming-up). I have read somewhere that you should never exercise for longer than 1 hour. At the moment I’ve built a program that lasts for 40 minutes so am going to add an extra set to each exercise to try and last for an hour. Cheers.

Smoking

Does smoking effect your weight training? Also gaining weight?

I am a rugby player looking to lose fat and tone up at the same time. Most of the training regimes suggest that 3 weights sessions per week is sufficient along with minimal CV and good diet.

Is this still the case if you are training Tuesday and Thursday, and either playing or doing circuits on the Saturday?

Any help/training plan suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Best Compound Exercises

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas about the best compound exercises to perform in my routine. I have already developed a program of 9 exercises I do 3 times a week (I only want to do compound exercises) to get a full body workout but was wondering if anyone had a program that differs. I have also just bought an exercise bench with incline/decline bench, preacher pad and lat pulldown. At the moment I do (in order) - Deadlift; Bent-over Row; Pullover; Benchpress; Upright Row; Military Press; Curl; Crunches. If anybody has a different take on this then I would appreciate your opinion.

Cheers.

Abs Exercises

Can anyone suggest to be the best exercises to built up my abs. I read on here all the time people asking how they can reduce fat to reveal the illusive six pack but the way i look at is, whats the point it losing fat to show off a undefind six pack….

I do the usual crunchs etc… but i still seem to have fairly flat abs…

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

?

hi.

can anyone help because i need help on knowing how to lose weight(fat) from my stomach, side of my stomach(love handles), arms and legs please.
however i only have access to a skipping rope, medicine ball, bench press bar and weights, dumbells, barbells, squat machine, and a all in one machine and also a hall that has two long pads for kicking, boxing, etc. and also the hall has boxing mitts, etc.

Im wondering if its better/you will see better results if you train one muscle group per session - chest for example, or if you should combine two groups - chest and back for example.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.
