General question

Dear muscle bulletin users,

Around the lower abs i have some body fat, i weigh round 9 stone 10 and i am of 20 years of age! I have no fat anywhere else on my body and have a body fat percentage of around 8%. What can i do to combat this problem? its really annoying me.

Sprint faster

What is the best way to increase my running speed and accelerate faster from stand still
? I play centre in rugby and find it hard to put on weight + muscle but am getting there steadily. After some time off playing I am starting to regain my pace but need to get faster.

Continuous flexing

I have a very busy work schedule ( 14-26 hours a day 6-7 days a week) so i dont really have time to work out as much as i used too. Ive started to Flex my muscles as hard and for as long as i can in continuous reps, after warm up, and have been noticeing that it seems to be working just as well as most of the work outs ive done. Is there a chance i can injure myself as long as i dont push myself too hard? Does anyone else have experience with this?

bad wrist

before the summer id got myself into good shape and had planed to keep it that way, just over a month ago at a drunkin festival i fell quite badly on my wrists and not noticed the pain until the next morning when i couldent put any weight on them.ones now fine but my right is still sore at times if i move it in a certain way etc.is it best for me to rest completly or is it ok to do light weights with it or will that make it worse?

Hi can you help; I have been training for 5 months now (weights and cardio) and have gone from 16 stone to 14 stone mostly fat loss as I have some increased muscle size. I am 6 ft 1 but am still carying quite a bit of body fat mainly around my chest area (man boobs). Should I concentrate on losing more body fat by continuing with my routine before trying to bulk up or should I increase my calorie intake now with more protien and supplements and expect to lose the fat through increased muscle gains. Or what???

Target muscle groups or not??

I currently train as follows….
Monday - Bicept and Abs
Thursday - Shoulders and Back
Saturday - Chest and tricep

People at my gym tell me i should mix it up by doing a varity of different muscles per session eg…

Monday - Bicept - tricep and shoulders
Tuesday - Legs - abs and back
Thursday - chest - Bicept and Shoulders
Saturday - Tricep - abs and legs….

Im confused, i always thought it was better to over load a specific muscle group rather than do a general body work out??

Any ideas whats best??
