L Glutamine

Hi,

I’ve just started using L-Glutamine powder, and the first time i used it i mixed 5g with a fizzy bottle of lucozade. Immediately it started to fizz up and froth started to pour out the bottle, it only lasted about 10 seconds but it made me wonder if the fizz in the drink had altered the L Glutamine some how and perhaps ruined it making it useless?

Thanks for any ideas on this,
Andy

Hi,

I would like some advice please on the following products and was wondering if they are suitable for my training needs. I am 25 and started weight training last October, Until now I have been using NRG products Whey protein and TTP and have quite a good diet. I have seen good noticable gains going from 9½ stone to 11½ stone and am just wondering if you have any information on these products. I was told not to take a testosterone booster at 25 as it would stop me producing my own testosterone and when I come off it I would feel lethargic and would struggle to produce my own testosterone again, what are your feeling on this? Would it be safe to use?. I am training hard and am able to put up the weights every few weeks but dont seem to be getting any bigger?.

Your help and advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Stu

Hi, I’ve been reading up about Norateen Heavyweight and it sounds great. When I went to purchase this I was told I was too young (25 y/o) as it is aimed at over 30’s as it is a testosterone booster. Does anyone take this who is under 30 and if so what are the results like? I’ve reached a level where I cannot lift anymore as i’ve been training for 5 years and cannot up my weights without struggling and need a boost from something such as this.

Cheers, Matt

What supplements do I need?

Im 40 years old and have been exercising with weights for about 1.5 years now. I have a bit of gym equipment in my garage and read fitness magazines to help me know just what I should be doing. I have taken various supplements like protein shakes and Creatine but must admit i find the supplement thing a real minefield. There are so many different types claiming to offer different things. Could anybody tell me what i should take? I want to build lean muscle and gain a bit of size. I also find it hard to find the energy to do the weights in the first place and would also like to know what to take before training to give me an extra boost.

Please help

Hi everyone,

Hi everyone,

I am a sport and exercise science student and am desperately attempting to locate some peer reviewed journal articles supporting the claims of Maximuscle’s Thermobol product. When I contacted Maximuscle, all I received was a vague reply instructing me to view their ‘research’section of their site which featured a couple of wishy washy articles from a leading fitness publication.

What is the ‘cutting -edge science’ behind the claims? I regularly incorporate supplements into my training regimens, so I am definately NOT an anti-supplementarian, but I like to know what I am buying, can someone please help?!

Kindest Regards,

Warren David May
