Hi
I’ve been following your 3 day a week training program for girls (i’m 24) and it was going really well, i was doing a lot of reverse crunches and leg extensions etc to tone to my lower abs but then i noticed a bulge like a hernia in my groin (very rare in girls!)Doctor says i’ve overdone it and weakened the abdominal wall… when i was trying to make it stronger!
Should i lay off the stomach exercises? does this happen a lot? Is it a case of tearing the muscle so it regrows stronger? obviously after its had time to recover…
Thanks!

Pain in the ass.

Ok, not just talking about me asking another question, but i’ve been following the maximuscle 3 day a week training(after getting somewhere with free weights) but i’m finding that my muscles are very painful after the workout and for up to 4 days afterwards too.

I do the three sets with 10-12 reps on each exercise and the workout feels good, and I have no problems with mood or anything, I look forward to training so it doesn’t sound like overtraining. Just worried i’m doing more harm than good. Also has stopped me from doing cardio on alternate days(which is a plus side).

Just not sure how i’m supposed to do the reps without feeling like this. Did squats yesterday(hence the title) and it just feels like my muscles are bruised. Am I maybe doing too much?

How much rest??

Hi, i am in great shape and i am building muscle consistently without plateu’s in strength….up up up! Thinking about size alone tho, how much rest is best before i train that muscle group again?? atm i keep changing it from every 4 days to once per week….which is best?

Hi to all,its a year now since i had a c6 (neck) prolapsed disc,i had a cervical injection of steriod to get rid of certain symptoms. They did but weirdly i have a wasted right pec and tricep now.The root nerves of c6 and c7 have been affected/crushed and nerves can regenerate at one inch per month but although the strength has returned quite well, the muscle doesnt “respond” when trained.my right pec doesnt pump up.Should i go for these pads that send an elec’ signal thro the pec or train a certain way??? please help….

Please help

I’ve heard that taking in more than 30-32g per serving is pointless as the body can’t deal with anymore than that at once, so some of it goes to waste. Has anyone else heard this?
