Optimum time for training?
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knew the optimum length of time to do weight-training (excluding warming-up). I have read somewhere that you should never exercise for longer than 1 hour. At the moment I’ve built a program that lasts for 40 minutes so am going to add an extra set to each exercise to try and last for an hour. Cheers.

When you've answered a members query, why not upload a photo to the new gallery and the person you've helped can see who's helped them? Registering for Muscle Bulletin gives you a personal gallery to upload your photos to.

It is true that your session shouldn’t really last longer then an hour however it doesnt have to be that long i would go by total number of sets per muscle group and the way your body reacts to what your doing, if your getting results then 40mins is PERFECT.
