Without seeing what you have done it is hard to tell. You will need to rest before anymore damage is done. If you had torna muscle / ligement while training you would have known at the time. However, you have clearly done some damage. remember when we work out with heavy weights you are continuously breaking down your muscle fibres ( also known as muscle tearing) while you rest and take on board protein and aminos it repairs the muscle making it easier to lift next time. Im no expertbut, depending on the pain you are feeling and how long for you may need to seek medical advise, either way unfortunately you will need to rest.

good luck

If the pump is greater on one side the chances are your bench pressing technique is in balanced, try holding your core tight and get an instructor to check your form. if this doesnt even them out then consider using more DB exercises

cheers

i have the same problem but i didn't notice it, until one day my friend mention that one side of my chest look smaller than the other. when i got home, i looked in the mirror and it was unbelievable, my left chest had gone flat, while my right hand side remain the same.to my surprise there wasn't any pain to even make me aware. i have been working out for years but at that particular time had been working more harder on my chest. i've been to the doctor and had an extray done, i was told everything is fine, that is probably something i wa sborn with. i still dont understand because i used to have a balance shape chest. now, one side is biger than the other.
if anyone have any information about this kind of problem please kindly shed me some light!
