my chest
i worked out hard on wednesday and my chest was sore. the soreness is usually a good sore after a hard workout but this wasnt.it was also only sore on my left side. i looked at it in the mirror and my left side looked huge and puffed up and my right one wasnt so. did i hurt it and will it heal back to normal? what did i do?

Without seeing what you have done it is hard to tell. You will need to rest before anymore damage is done. If you had torna muscle / ligement while training you would have known at the time. However, you have clearly done some damage. remember when we work out with heavy weights you are continuously breaking down your muscle fibres ( also known as muscle tearing) while you rest and take on board protein and aminos it repairs the muscle making it easier to lift next time. Im no expertbut, depending on the pain you are feeling and how long for you may need to seek medical advise, either way unfortunately you will need to rest.

If the pump is greater on one side the chances are your bench pressing technique is in balanced, try holding your core tight and get an instructor to check your form. if this doesnt even them out then consider using more DB exercises
