how can i build up my atrophied muscles?
Hi to all,its a year now since i had a c6 (neck) prolapsed disc,i had a cervical injection of steriod to get rid of certain symptoms. They did but weirdly i have a wasted right pec and tricep now.The root nerves of c6 and c7 have been affected/crushed and nerves can regenerate at one inch per month but although the strength has returned quite well, the muscle doesnt “respond” when trained.my right pec doesnt pump up.Should i go for these pads that send an elec’ signal thro the pec or train a certain way??? please help….

I also have had a nerve injury but to my right elbow. It happen 2 years ago, but to this day my right arm still is half an inch smaller than my left. So I would say yes to trying one of those electro pads, if anything at least it may improve electronic nerve signals to the lagging muscles. Good luck mate

I have chronic nerve damage in my neck which i have to look out for so I understand what a pain in the ass this can be! Its a tough one to answer but I guess try and see what the pads do, if not then post back on here and see if we can work around the problem. I found using assisting machines to be much better than using free weights when I encountered my problem, i.e Smith Machines etc… It takes a load of stress off the neck if your doing Barbell presses to the front and may help with the pec problem. I’m not as to how to work around the tricep without loosing more mass
