Am i taking right supplements at right time?

Hi,

im 18 and am trying to get into good shape in 3 months time (i know it seems a short amount of time), im weight training 5 times a week and trying to put muscle on my chest and arms. I am current taking Promax 3 times a day (1 straight after workout) but i have just bought Promax extreme and will take that 3 times a day. Is Promax extreme the correct supplement to take to get a good chest and arms in 3 months?

I’d say 5 times a week is too much. You’ve got the supplements right but may need to rest a lot. Don’t concentrate on just your arms and chest.

Monday/Wednesday/Friday is best for training in my opinion. Then grow on the rest days.

    And eat like a horse.

Yes, more rest. 10 hrs a night. Lots of protein.

If you want results in 3 months your going to have to work your ass off. I agree with the others to cut down on days, I’d say 3-4 is best. training each bodypart once a week. If you want size, use Progain not Promax, you will gain the lbs a lot more quickly. I definately agree you going to have to eat like a horse… Get the lean meat in, lots of chicken, eggs, steak, loads of high value protein foods. But make sure you work the whole body, you’d be surprised how much more size you will gain by working say the shoulders and back, as you use the triceps and chest for the shoulders as well, and the biceps for the back…

say if i trained each body part a week hard with weights ate well lots of protein and used Progain or Cyclone would i gain muscle quickly or fat?? can anyone answer cheers

thanks for help guys, any more help will be grateful. btw sean if you use Progain and dont work out enough then you will gain fat, but if you work hard then you should gain lean muscle.

Well of course supplements are to be used as a nutritional supplement as they contain a high number of calories for building muscle, so if you dont train enough the calories will turn to fat. 3 times a week is enough to see results though, but just check your physique in the mirror to make sure your not gaining fat, which you shouldn’t if you combine cardio too.

cheers guys i have been working out following the guides on maximuscle and i would say it is pretty intense i also eat healthily following maximuscle diet plan would anyone recomend Progain as the best mass building supplement as long as i work hard enough?? or are there better products for building lean mass??

  10. Ross Says:

well there are so many products to choose from… I have found great gains with Progain and I only really use it as it’s a British company and I trust in their products. But I know people have found good results with Met-RX products. Check out www.bodyactive-online.co.uk for a whole load of supplements and reviews, they have good prices as well :)
