medial ligament problem


I play rugby union and i have read the article on bulking up rugby players and have been encorparating that into my training unfortunately, recently i suffered a medial knee ligament injury. What exercises can i do to help improve the strength of the ligaments?

    when it has fully healed (6 weeks should do it ) begin running again and gradually bring in different angles of running, side steps etc. this will stress the ligament and will gradually make it stronger.
