How does it all work?

Affiliate marketing involves bringing people to a website, giving them useful, interesting information and education, and passing them on to an online shop to buy a product. Using your new website, you'll have banners and links which, when people click on them and go through to buy from the shop, earn you commission.

You don't see any stock, talk to any customers, or even need to be on the end of the phone. Every click that goes through your website to a shop is tracked by our partners system and the commission earnt is paid directly to you, as the owner of the website who provided the traffic.

What's new about the Muscle Bulletin system is that we give you all the tools to become an affiliate without the huge expense and knowledge that's usually needed. We've developed a system which allows people with very little technical expertise to become part of this online sales force. We also provide all the extra benefits which many people don't realise are necessary for running a successfull website. How much technical knowledge do I need?

Very little. You need to log in to the administration side to change your site where you can use the editor to change the text of the pages and any menu options. There are comprehensive help pages to help you and the support team is here to help you with any technical problems. If you want to have a developer build your site for you then this is an added option.

Can I sell any other products through my website ?

You can sell any product from a merchant that is listed with our partners, Affiliate Window. This includes companies in fields other than sports and fitness, including PC World, Boots, Currys, H Samuel, John Lewis, M&S and many more. Download a complete list (csv format)

Do you include all the functions on the demo site like the blog, gallery, calendar and contact page?

Yes, and more are coming. We're developing a podcast module at the moment to allow your members to download podcasts from your site and many more are in the pipeline. There are no extra charge for these.

How many pages do I get for this?

There are no extra charges for extra pages. You get 50mb of storage which is enough for around 100 pages with many images and videos. We recommend you use YouTube to host your videos but we have developed a plugin to show them on your site.

Can I add pages anywhere on the site and add my own extra buttons to the navigation?

Yes you can. The sites are completely customizable and can be changed in almost limitless ways. We set you up with the basics and then you can change it as you wish.

How much can I expect to earn from my website? See the demo shop page

It depends on much traffic you bring to your website.. If you are a personal trainer, for example, direct your clients towards your site to buy their supplements then you can earn between 8% and 20% of the order value. Many sites process hundreds of orders a month using this technique. All sites come pre-loaded with banners to start you earning from day one which you yourself can use to get the commission. A site with interesting information that gets lots of traffic from search engines can deliver sales in the thousands every month, sometimes more.

Is there any charge for earning commissions?

None at all. Any visitor to your website who goes on to purchase from Maximuscle, or any other site online, pays the normal price and there is no cost to yourself for the commission system. There is a £5 setup charge for the Affiliate Window account which is refunded with your first payment.

What is a cookie and how does it help me?

A cookie is a small text file that is placed on the PC of a visitor to your website when they click through to an online shop. Its used for tracking clicks to websites. When a purchase is made the shop checks for the presence of a cookie and allocates commission if one is found. This means if you send a visitor to Maximuscle and they buy something at ANY time up to 45 days after you sent them (the length of the Maximuscle cookie) you still get the commission. A long cookie means more commissions for you.

How do I get paid?

Your payment is handled by our partners, Affiliate Window who track all the orders generated by your website. They pay you fortnightly direct into your bank account. Read more about Affiliate Window on their website.

Do the websites comply with all modern standards for web design?

All sites we build comply completely with all modern standards and are optimized for Google and all other major search engines.

Can I get a refund if I don't like my new site?

We offer a complete refund within 2 weeks of your order. If you're not entirely happy, we refund the complete amount paid.

How can I get help if I need it?

Apart from our 7 day a week, fanatical level of support, every person who builds a site with us gets access to our closed forum with information on building your website, getting traffic, making sales, optimizing commissions and lots more. Swap commission tips with other site owners. Learn from their successes, and failures. Build relationships with other site owners through the forum to build your business.

I have a domain name already. What do I do with it?

If you already have a domain name registered then it can stay in your ownership and a small change at the registrars will point it towards your new site. You can check the availability of your domain name in the form below. We would suggest registering a domain which is a .com or a .co.uk for best results.
